Dead Island Escape - Swedish adventure computer game in the genre of Survival Horror , which was developed by Fatshark for PS3 , X360 and PC . The game takes place between Dead Island , and announced in this years Dead Island 2 . Dead Island: Riptide is a video game in subjective view of survie- such horror developed by Polish studio Techland and published by Deep Silver . It was released April 26, 2013 on PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 and on Windows .
This is a direct result of the first component Dead Island , released in 2011. It embodies the survivors will have to escape to an island infested with zombies. To do this, it will create makeshift weapons to try and unravel the secret of a virus while trying to stay alive.
The history of Riptide takes place immediately after the end of Dead Island , with four survivors immunized - the former American football player Logan Carter, rapper Sam B, Xian Mei police and the Australian body guard Purna - Helicopter landing on a military ship after escaping infection of the island. They are immediately quarantined by the Australian Defence Force Colonel Sam Hardy and Frank Serpo, a civilian VIP. On the deck of the ship, they encounter another survivor immunized Sergeant John Morgan, who said he was part of a humanitarian effort on a nearby island until Serpo has terminated its mission.
After the effects of sedatives that were injected them while being examined, dissipated character (the player has chosen beforehand) wakes up and has to flee the ship overrun by zombies. Serpo fled by helicopter shortly before the ship out of control, hit a rock. The immunized regains consciousness on the shore of the island of Palanai and is found by Harlow, a researcher who explains that the zombie infection has spread there as well. After finding Colonel Hardy, he says angrily away that organizing Serpo is interested in Kuru strain that caused the zombie outbreak and as Banoi, a nuclear strike against Palanai is scheduled for purge the infection and destroy the evidence.
At the suggestion of Hardy, the survivors decide to go in the city of Henderson, hoping the army base nearby to offer help. In the absence of bridges and boats, looking for survivors found on site and an underground tunnel, which allows them to reach a dock. A researcher based in the jungle, Dr. Kessler says he believes that the survivors of the zombie virus mutation was created by exposure to chemical weapons. He warns and explains that they were stored in tunnels, and could act as a mutagen to transform the virus into the body of an infected subject and become something even more dangerous thing that they can not delete.
As the system was moving tunnels, Harlow presents a survivor secretly infected with chemicals to see the results, the survivor turns into a giant monster. Shortly after, the player will meet a resistance group escaped prisoners who took over the pier, the survivors will enter a prolonged involuntary fury and kill all the prisoners who previously wanted to seize their weapons and provisions. The survivors then reach Henderson, but when they take refuge in a movie theater, Harlow abandons.
The player is a military base that has been invaded and contact Serpo, he said that there was no nuclear war provided that Hardy is not trustworthy, and agreed to send a helicopter to evacuate survivors. Hardy admits he made the move to nuclear war survivors, and in turn, insists that Serpo is not reliable and does not want quévacuer immunized to continue his research.
